Our history and the
  skyguard® range of products

Auto Securit has been a major player on the Hungarian vehicle protection market ever since its foundation in 1991. We were the first to start our satellite vehicle protection in 1991-ben, therefore it is our company that has accumulated the most experience in this field in Hungary.

Just a few milestones of our past and present:

1997
We were the first to step on the market, and we have held our major role in Hungary as prominent providers of vehicle protection and fleet management ever since - thanks to our loyal clients and quality services.
1998
In 1997, by winning a national tender, Auto Securit signed a cooperation agreement with the National Police Department and the National Headquarters of Customs and Excises. As a result of this, the law enforcement bodies take immediate measures in the event of an alarm with our clients’ vehicles.
1999
On basis of our agreement with Porsche Hungaria we have exclusive right in Hungary to be the satellite vehicle protection suppliers of the AUDI models, and furthermore, we have become leading suppliers of the Volkswagen brand, as well.
2003
Bearing in mind our clients’ needs, we have developed the skyguard® brand family which includes several vehicle protection packages, a fleet management system of various structures, Pocket PC based navigation systems, as well as the customised combination of these.  

We have become members of the GuardOne® international vehicle protection system, which means that our services stretch beyond the borders of Hungary, ensuring immediate measures in case of alert from the respective law enforcing bodies in several European countries.
2004
We introduced a continuously upgraded integrated company management system, thanks to which the up-to-date and accurate information and customised fees have enhanced the quality of our services.

We launched our skyguard®team fleet management services.By using our GPS-based internet connected vehicle tracking services the vehicle fleet can be accurately monitored 24 hours a day.
2005
With our skyguard®basic services we became the only providers of vehicle protection services made accessible for lower and medium category vehicles, as well.
2006
Following our clients’ needs and requests, we developed a unique hybrid service package which simultaneously ensures vehicle protection and fleet management.
2008
Working closely with the Italian mother company, our brand managers developed special fleet tracking functions tailored to machines, enabling the control of the various operational modes . Thus it became possible to separate and individually analyse data related to operation time, subordinate time, in both absolute and percentage terms.
2009
Our vehicle protection was extended to a customised package covering motorcycles and vessels, and a special Casco third party insurance was launched that summer.

Our values and achievements

In 1991 we were the first to appear on the satellite vehicle tracking market. Thanks to our clients’ loyalty  and owing to the quality of the services, we have been able to maintain our leading position in Hungary in both the vehicle protection and fleet management sector.

We aim to devote special attention to our standards, and have therefore obtained the following certifications: ISO 9001:2008 TÜV quality assurance, CE qualification for our products with full approval by R&TTE, and BEA qualification awarded by the Hungarian Association of Insurance Companies.

One of our largest investments was the building of our new centre conformant with the 2010 EU standards, which is detection- and break in-proof and operates 24/7 all year round. Our new centre comprises a Surveillance (Operator) Centre and a state-of-the-art IT Centre for info-communication purposes.

The central unit is an Italian made locating unit sold in over 80 countries, the characteristics of which are: exceptional value for money, top quality and reliability.

All our staff performing installations have the NVQ qualifications required by law (1998/IV and 24/1998 VI:9 BM) entitling them to work as Skilled electronic and mechanical service persons to pursue person and asset protection activities (OKJ 34 5223 02).

Through the agreement signed with Porsche Hungary we are the exclusive suppliers in Hungary of Audi series with satellite vehicle protection, and along the same agreement, leading suppliers of the Volkswagen brand, as well.

From the moment the equipment is installed up until the safeguarding of  delivery and servicing, each process is carried out under the supervision and quality guarantee of Auto Securit.
